Varietal: 100% estate-grown Petit Verdot
Oak: Hungarian/French for 36 months
This full-bodied red grape originates in Bordeaux, where it is often used as a blending grape because of its plentiful color and tannins. Due to the cool climate in Bordeaux, the berries stay green (hence the name!), but here in Paso Robles. it grows spectacularly well, ripening fully and reaching its full potential. We love the dense, fruit forward flavors, with notes of blackberry, sage, and violet. Enjoy this with short ribs, portobello mushrooms, smoked gouda, or your favorite eggplant dish!
Limited production made!
