Looking for a place your furry friends can come along to? We're here!
Though we are a vineyard, we're darn near just as much a farm! We have a dog, goats, sheep, and a pig! To say that your pups are welcome here is an understatement (as long as they're friendly to humans and animals).
This is our kunekune pig Gilbert and one of his pup friends, Hudson. Gilbert is super friendly and loves hanging out on the patio with our Bon Niche visitors!

We use machinery sparingly around the vineyard so as not to increase our carbon footprint but even the things we DO use the tractor for are in the name of sustainability!
This attachment on the back of the tractor is called a "weed knife" - and it's absolutely awesome! The weed knife has a hydraulic arm that can sense the vines. Once it figures out where the vines are, the knife takes out the weeds & cover crop that we can't easily reach with a mower.
So, why do we use such a specialized machine (other than that it's so cool, of course)? To avoid the use of sprays! Weed killers are bad for crops, the environment, and the animals that we share our land with. We're so grateful for this tool because it helps keep the Earth safe for all of us! The best part is... We only have to use the weed knife once a year. Our grazing animals keep all the weeds down the rest of the time!
