These locally produced balsamic vinegars are a favorite of ours. We can use them for anything! We love them for salad dressings.
Our Blackberry Balsamic vinegar starts with fresh blackberries locally grown on neighboring farms. They are placed in small vats with California balsamic vinegar to go through a second fermentation process, taking several months. This process enhances and locks in the fresh sweet berry flavor giving the balsamic a rich smooth finish. Try it with our Mandarin Orange Olive Oil or Basil Olive Oil for two very different salad dressings! It also be used as finishing oil for meats, vegetables, fruit, even ice cream.
For a simple salad dressing or marinade mix 1 part vinegar with 2 or 3 parts of one of our olive oils. Toss in green salads with fresh fruit or berries. Drizzle on vegetables and meats. Make sweet reductions for ice cream, pies or fruit.
