Bon Niche Cellars is located on a beautiful slope with a spectacular view of the distant hills. The rich soil, hot
days and brisk nights were perfect for the varietals that grow so well in
the Paso Robles terroir. The vineyard is planted with Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc and combined with fruit from nearby vineyards. Straight varietals and artisan blends are being produced, primarily Bordeaux style with a touch of Rhone.
The slightly remote location of the vineyard and winery, in the rolling hills just north east of Paso Robles makes it difficult to have a full time tasting room. Visit the winery without an appointment on weekends when county events are being held or arrange for a personal wine tasting of your own. It's worth the visit!
